The Sarajevo National Theater hosted the premiere of the project “BH Brodway”, which the Embassy of the United States of America in BiH has done in co-production for the National Theater Sarajevo and our company.
The project brought together 16 young actors from various cities across BiH with a team of American artists.
They together held the Broadway hit musical “25. Campaigning in Putnam County.”
Ryan Nelson, a music director from Chicago, has worked with this young team of people, and says this is an extremely important project for him.
The musical tour embellished Sarajevo, Mostar, Bijeljina, Tuzla, Zenica, Jajce and Banja Luka. The project began with the selection of talented actors and actresses, singers and singer at auditions held at drama academies in Sarajevo, Tuzla and Banja Luka. After a seven-day workshop held at the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, the group met again in Sarajevo.
